Privacy Policy
Effective Date: September 11, 2026 · Version 2.1
StrikingOdds does not require user registration, email sign-ups, deposits, or financial account information to access our live odds comparison board or read our betting intelligence guides. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to data brokers or third parties.
1. Introduction & Scope
StrikingOdds (“we”, “us”, or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to operating transparently regarding the data we collect when you visit our website (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how it is used, how it is protected, and your rights under applicable privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”), the California Privacy Rights Act (“CPRA”), and the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (“VCDPA”).
2. Information We Collect
We collect minimal technical and analytical telemetry necessary to maintain site security, prevent automated abuse, and record outbound affiliate referrals:
Standard HTTP request headers, browser user-agent strings, referring URLs, access timestamps, and hashed IP addresses used for distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) mitigation and rate-limiting enforcement.
When you click an odds cell or outbound sportsbook link (via /go/[book]), our server logs the click timestamp, the destination sportsbook, the associated event/bout slug, and the displayed odds price. This data is collected solely to verify affiliate commissions and audit price drift.
StrikingOdds does NOT collect user legal names, physical addresses, telephone numbers, credit card details, bank accounts, Social Security numbers, or government-issued identification.
3. How We Use Telemetry Information
We use the limited technical data collected solely for legitimate operational purposes:
- Delivering real-time odds comparison, search functionality, and editorial content.
- Protecting the Site against click fraud, credential stuffing, scraping bots, and abusive traffic spikes.
- Operating our outbound referral redirect system and auditing affiliate reporting with partner sportsbooks.
- Analyzing aggregate, non-personally identifiable site usage trends (such as determining which fight cards attract the highest reader interest).
4. Cookies, Beacons, & Third-Party Links
StrikingOdds does not utilize invasive third-party cross-site behavioral tracking cookies.
Outbound Links to Third-Party Sportsbooks: When you click on any link directing you to a sportsbook (e.g., BetOnline, Bovada, BetUS, DraftKings, or 1xBet), you leave StrikingOdds. These third-party websites operate under their own independent privacy policies and may place tracking cookies, session identifiers, or tracking pixels on your browser to track registrations and deposits. StrikingOdds has no control over and assumes no responsibility for the cookie practices or data handling of third-party sportsbooks.
5. Non-Sale of Personal Information (CCPA / CPRA Notice)
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”) and California Privacy Rights Act (“CPRA”), California residents have specific rights regarding their personal information:
- Right to Know: You have the right to request what personal information we collect, use, and disclose.
- Right to Delete: You have the right to request deletion of any personal information we maintain about you.
- Right to Opt-Out: StrikingOdds does NOT sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not sell data to third parties.
- Non-Discrimination: We will never discriminate against you for exercising your statutory privacy rights.
To submit a privacy inquiry or deletion request, please email privacy@strikingodds.io.
6. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) & Minors (21+)
StrikingOdds is strictly designed and intended for adults of legal gambling age (21 years of age and older). We do not knowingly collect, solicit, or maintain personal information from individuals under the age of 21. If we become aware that an individual under 21 has provided us with personal information, we will take immediate steps to delete such data from our servers.
7. Data Security & Retention
We implement industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect telemetry data against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration. Technical logs and click telemetry are retained only for the duration reasonably necessary to fulfill operational audits, affiliate reporting verification, and security monitoring, after which they are purged.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect modifications in our data practices, statutory legal requirements, or technological updates. Any revisions will be posted directly to this page with an updated “Effective Date”.
